Ashley Ann Olson

Lifestyle Portraits

Ashley Olson is new to the scene. She is so gunho about shooting that there is no instruction needed. A little talk before the shoot and she is good to go.

2010 Weddings Season

Its Wedding Season!

Exciting, yes, in a couple ways. Not only do I get to shoot my
own but I get to work under someone. Photography by Scarlett has given me the pleasure of assisting/second shooter for her this season.
Scarlett is an amazing photographer. Many couples have been blessed to have her talent capturing their wedding day. 2010 is my year that I get to witness it first hand.
I got to tag along with her to cover a family members wedding in the spring. It was a bit chilly but worth every shutter release.

Summer Portraits

The summer is a great time. Heck, its almost magical. Coming out of a season where frozen fingers fumble on the shutter button and chattering teeth are picked up by the camera mic is needed.
Sierra and Shea are partners in crime. I just get to tag along and get a few shots in. On this day we hit up an orchard and gravel pit. These are two of my favorites for that day.

Grip N Guard

Dan of Dan Brady Painting and Wood Restoration invited me to be part of this commercial. Brady was the talent during the shoot and was wanting some stills of the process. For Dan Brady I respond with with, "When and Where!"
The shoot was done at Carter Oostherhouse's home on Old Mission Pennisula. Beautiful place to call home.

Left: Dan Brady watches Charles M. Lombardo of CML Marketing Communications demostrate how he would like the next shot down.

The productions crew on set was Brauer Productions. Owner Rich Brauer was there handling the camera and sound.

Rail Jam

Rail Jams at Mt. Holiday!

Mt. Holiday hosted the January Rail Jams with an amazing turnout from the local riders. Over 70 contestants signed up to be part of the competition. Ages ranged from 10 to 24 with three different categories.

The format of a Jam is that all rides keep riding till they are eliminated. As time passes the expectation rises from the judges that are spread out through the course. The first session lasts for about 30 minutes. The course is than closed and regroomed. The finalists get a few more runs in front of the judges and more riders are eliminated. All in all it took the two Sponsors Brickwheels and Burton about an hour to choose the winners.
