Sign of the Times

As I pulled into the carport after a meeting today and I was greeted with a nice little sign. This one was about 15 feet up in a tree. There was some remaining berries from the summer. Just another reminder that its Thanksgiving.
Happy Holidays from me to you!

History Faire

Halloween Custumes

Woodland School seventh grader Piper Deans jokes with sixth grader Luke Kreykes during a break between presentations. Deans and Kreykes were playing Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Jackson. Kreykes said, "having to wear a wig is the hardest part about being Andrew Jackson." Kreykes removed the wig between presentations. Deans added, " having to go to goodwill and find the clothes was the toughest part of the assignment.

Fellow students were given clues about different presidents and they had to ask the couples questions to find out which president they had. Woodland students celebrated halloween with a History Faire. This year's theme is "presidents" in which the students learned about various aspects such as election terms, campaigning, Senate and the House of Representatives.
